Research Focus - Data Coordinating Centers for Oncology Programs
- Provide biostatistical expertise relevant to cancer research, including survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, interim monitoring of studies, study design, sample size and simulation studies for sample size of complex studies
- Develop statistical sections of protocols, sample sizes and Statistical Analysis Plans for FDA review
- Design and analyze molecular experiments, animal model experiments, and first-in-human studies, as well as the full progression of clinical trials
- Analyze genomic-level data and merge clinical and genomic data for analysis
- Provide biostatistical review of all oncology protocols considered by the UMass Cancer Research Office Protocol Review Committee
