Coalition for Health AI (CHAI)
The Coalition for Health AI (CHAI) is committed to developing and promoting responsible AI standards in healthcare to ensure that AI applications are high-quality, trustworthy, and equitable. With over 1,000 members representing more than 780 organizations and 10 federal participants, CHAI builds trust through broad representation and public-private collaboration. Its focus on transparency and innovation is critical to supporting the responsible deployment of AI in healthcare. CHAI’s deliverables include the certification of Assurance Labs, continuous evaluation, best practice guidance, and the creation of a national registry featuring model report cards. Established by MITRE, CHAI strengthens our Lab’s position within this growing ecosystem.
