MRI Safety Training

Advanced MRI users must renew Safety Training each year. Access to training and testing is available to Internal Users and UMMHC employees at the links below. Individuals who have never had Advanced MRI Safety Training, please contact the AMRIC manager.

Required reading for Advanced MRI Center users

Level 1

Level 1 Training is for MRI users who will NOT operate the scanner.

Steps to complete annual training:

1. Read the Advanced MRI Center Policy and Procedures, available online (PDF)
2. View Level 1 Training presentation (PDF)
3. Take the policy quiz
4. Take Level 1 Training quiz
5. After completing the two quizzes, please fill out AMRIC-Screening form, and the AMRIC Safety Training Form, email both forms and two certificates of completion training to AMRIC Manager.

Level 2

Level 2 Training is for MRI users who WILL operate the scanner.

Steps to complete annual training:

1. Read the Policy and Procedures, available online (PDF)
2. View Level 2 Training presentation (PDF)
3. Take the policy quiz
4. Take Level 2 Training quiz
5. After completing the two quizzes, please fill out AMRIC-Screening form, and the AMRIC Safety Training Form, email both forms and two certificates of completion training to AMRIC Manager.
